Towards a Written British Constitution?

On the 16th of February 2016, Model Westminster held an event at the Houses of Parliament entitled ‘Towards a Written British Constitution?’ The event was held in partnership with Parliament’s Community Outreach and Engagement Team and also featured talks by the Electoral Reform Society. The purpose of the event was to provide an understanding of the UK constitution, it’s flexible character, the role of parliament within the UK constitution and to contrast it with other constitutional systems. Most importantly, the event was designed to encourage the young people to engage in the significant UK constitutional debates taking place in the UK today.
