Department for Education: GCSE & A Level Reforms

On September 5th 2014 forty students from across the country, visited the Department for

Education. The event focussed on the recent and imminent changes to

GCSE subjects and A Levels. The students focussed primarily on the

content changes being made to the subjects and qualifications. The

day began with introductions and a speech by Governor and Free School Founder

Chidi Amadi, followed by a series of content examination events into various

subjects that students were studying. The subjects were reviewed and recommendations were

made to ensure that students were at the forefront of the content changes

due for implementation in 2015.
